The availability of the all-new Ascent for a second full month pushed Subaru of America to another U.S. record in July.
Subaru sold 4,589 units of the three-row crossover in July, extending its streak of year-over-year U.S. monthly sales increases to 80.
The Crosstrek had another strong month with U.S. sales totaling 12,664. July marks the sixth month in a row that the Crosstrek generated sales off at least 10,000 or more.
Total sales: 59,426, a 6.7% increase.
Notable nameplates: Outback off 8.3%, Forester down 9.9%, Crosstrek up 59%, Impreza down 5%, WRX/WRX STI off 31%, Legacy down 31%, BRZ down 20%.
Incentives: $1,583 per vehicle, an increase of 44% from a year earlier, ALG says.
Average transaction price: $28,605, up 3.2% from a year earlier, according to ALG.
